On this release, the vinyl edition features a remix by Slowly, while the digital version includes a re-edit by label head Paul Murphy.

Jazz Room Presents: Covers is the first compilation by Jazz Room Records, curated around the theme of cover songs. It showcases outstanding reinterpretations from artists around the world, including Saimaa’s live cover of Deodato’s “Super Strut” and Quasimode’s jazzy take on Galaxy2Galaxy.

version city session’s “Riot In Lagos” reimagines Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Japanese electro classic through the lens of club jazz. It’s a great honor to have this track reach new listeners after all these years.
